Managing natural resources for society: welfare and health implications

This presentation will highlight the typical issues of concern relating to the management of natural resources from a multi-stakeholder perspective. It will then suggest a framework for the responsible management of natural resources and examine its implications for resources developers, governments and local communities/civil society. It will also refer to the challenge of information management and the kinds of tools required to track health and human well-being in resource regions.
