'There is an urgent need to bring about 2 billion
people on this planet under modern energy systems. This cannot
be done on a market basis alone.'
'We
need alternative resources that go beyond renewable energy.
One way is to rely on nuclear energy, which can be dangerous.
The other is to decarbonize a fossil-fuel-based energy system.'
