Ms. Ghosh is presently finalizing a strategy paper, already on the website, on the social franchising of services and the social marketing of reproductive health products. She has motivated the updating of standards and specifications of contraceptives and instrumentation used in the national family welfare programme. Her special interests are in the areas of decentralization of health care and convergence of service delivery. Ms Ghosh is a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Pittsburgh, USA, in the field of Public Policy Research and Analysis. She has a Masters in Public Policy, Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University; a Masters in Sociology, Delhi School of Economics Delhi University as well as Diplomas in French and in Russian. Ms Meenakshi Datta Ghosh belongs to the Indian Administrative Service (since 1970) and has held several positions of reponsibility in development administration. |
