Realizing that the global exchange of knowledge, ideas and technology is central to all aspects of sustainable development, The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI), organizes the World Sustainable Development Summit (WSDS). The Summit Secretariat is housed in the Sustainable Development Outreach and Youth Education division of TERI.

The Sustainable Development Outreach & Youth Education
The Sustainable Development Outreach & Youth Education (SDO&YE) division of TERI ensures that TERI's research and knowledge is shared with varied audiences including Governments, policy makers, corporates, academic and research institutions, media, youth and civil society. This division ensures that projects completed and solutions created by TERI are widely disseminated, leading to action. Through seminars, workshops, conferences and Summits at national and international levels, SDO&YE facilitates exchanges of information and ideas amongst various stakeholders.
The WSDS Secretariat is housed within the Sustainable Development Outreach &Youth Education division at TERI and ensures smooth functioning of the Summit.
