The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI), owns and operates WSDS mobile app (hereinafter the “App”). This policy document informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use and disclosure of personal information we receive from users of the App. By using the App, you agree to the collection and use by us of the personal information provided by you, in accordance with this policy.

Information Collection and Use

We understand and recognise the importance of protecting the information of users of this App. We are committed to safeguarding the online privacy of our users and do not intend to sell or rent your information to any third party. Our registration form requires users to give us their contact information, including but not limited to, their name, email address, contact no. etc. and demographic information like city, state, country of the participant. We use the contact information from the registration form to send information/updates about the event to the user and demographic information to manage and facilitate the event programs. The App captures the Device ID in order to send out push notifications regarding the event. There is also a provision to exchange the contact data through QR code.
