The Energy Transitions Commission India (ETC India) housed in The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI), New Delhi has been convened as a platform to help identify pathways for change in India's energy system to ensure India's inclusive sustainable development, economic growth and appropriate contribution to the global fight against climate change.

Past International Dialogue

WSDS 2017 witnessed an International Dialogue held in Suva, Fiji where TERI as ‘Knowledge Partner’ co-hosted with the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of Republic of India the India – Pacific Islands Sustainable Development Conference on the theme of, ‘Furthering the FIPIC Agenda through Sustainability Initiatives’.

WSDS 2018 proceedings featured a special session on ‘Effective South-South Cooperation under FIPIC’ which further addressed the issues deliberated upon at the Suva Conference. We also had the honour of HE Mr Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum, Attorney-General and Minister for Economy, Public Enterprises, Civil Service and Communications, Government of Republic of Fiji gracing the Summit in New Delhi in February, 2018 with his presence.
