Session Description

This session will explore how collaborative action among national, state, and city governments—along with the private sector—can accelerate energy solutions. The session will highlight pathways for multi-level governance, policy innovation, technologies, and investment to power a just and inclusive energy future.

• How can states, provinces, and cities drive subnational leadership in energy solutions, including through deployment of technologies such as solar rooftops and micro-grids?
• What models of cooperative federalism can align national and local energy goals?
• How can the private sector partner with subnational actors to deliver scalable, equitable energy solutions?
