WSDS 2026 Summit Overview
The World Sustainable Development Summit (WSDS), launched in 2001 by The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) as the Delhi Sustainable Development Summit, has evolved into a premier global platform on sustainable development, rooted in the Global South. Marking its Silver Jubilee in 2026, WSDS celebrates 25 years of convening global leadership to address pressing environmental challenges.
As the only independently convened international summit of its kind, WSDS has brought together an influential community, including 61 Heads of State and Government, 155 Ministers, 13 Nobel Laureates, 2200+ Business Leaders, 3500+ Speakers, and 42,000+ Delegates.
Through a strong science–policy interface, the Summit plays a constructivist role in shaping global discourse, advancing climate ambition, and driving actionable solutions.
The Summit Overview Document captures key insights and a clear call to action, offering pathways to sustain and amplify the momentum generated at WSDS.
