TERI honours Ms Marina Silva with the Sustainable Development Leadership Award 2025 for her extraordinary commitment to environmental sustainability. A global icon in climate action, she championed Amazon conservation, reducing deforestation by 84% (2004-2012). Her advocacy for climate education and global policies continues to shape a sustainable future, making her a beacon of hope for generations.
