State level Sustainable Development Summit (Sl-SDS)

In an attempt to align the global with the local, DSDS also holds State level Sustainable Development Summits (Sl-SDSs) which addresses challenges to sustainable development at the local level. DSDS 2011 met at the sub-national level in the states of Karnataka and Assam to discuss challenges to sustainable development. DSDS 2012 will meet in the states of Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Uttarakhand, and Bihar. These sessions will be attended by the chief ministers of the respective states.
