By 2018 every village and by 2022 all Indian households will have electricity

A senior government official gave an assurance Wednesday at the World Sustainable Development Summit organized by The energy and Resources Institute (TERI) that electricity will flow to every village in two years and to all households by 2022. The summit will be inaugurated on Thursday by President Pranab Mukherjee.
