WSDS 2024 served as a platform to recognise youth-led initiatives and encourage meaningful engagement. In addition, certificates were awarded to youth contributors in appreciation of their valuable support to the Summit.
WSDS 2024 featured “Cool It for the Climate,” a behaviour change campaign on sustainable cooling. Over 100 students from Classes VI–XII in Delhi NCR participated in a poster competition promoting energy-efficient cooling. Vasundhara, a student-led magazine of the TERI School of Advanced Studies, launched its 14th edition, EquiClimate. This edition highlighted climate injustice and its disproportionate impact on marginalised communities. EquiClimate was released during WSDS 2024. To know more, click here.
